My Journey so far

Again, I've been so clumsy about this blog...

Today I'm writing you to let you know what I've been doing with my life - not that anybody really cares, but I will just write it down.

A lot as been going on since the last blog update that I gave you.

I quit my job on my family business and I've been living from my art - yes, it is possible - which was something that I never thought to archive.

 ----*----

 Since I'm still a rising artist with no awesome skills whatsoever, I don't sell my art that pricy, which means that I have to work a lot if I want to earn, at least, 600€ to 700€ p/m - which is already more than the minimum wage in Portugal.

   But I do it with passion if you ask me.

I begin this journey about 3 months ago, and it is been a hell of a ride. 

I have my ups and downs, and I assure you sometimes doing art is the best way to get rid of the bad things in life - at least of the nasty thoughts that run into your head every 5min.

It is no surprise to my family and closest friends that I suffer from depression - it is been almost 2 years now since I moved back to Portugal. 

So, being focused on my job is the only thing that makes me keep going on this earth. I have a few friends that I can count on, but I turned out being anti-social and awkward around people, so, what I really do best is stay at home 24/7 and ignore the world around me.

But less depressing talk shall we?

I'm not going to lie when it comes to my art.

Most of my profits come from NSFW pieces, most of them Furry, so I will not share them here with you because, not that I'm not proud of them, it is just because it is not the right place. For those who wonder, you can check them on my FurAffinity account.

Placing myself in some different perspective, I'm starting a new project.

Not so sure how to call it, but I'm getting really pumped by doing these kind of pieces - people really seem to enjoy them since they are almost similar to a tattoo design, which is great by me.

The good feedback is rolling and I'm feeling even more proud of what I'm doing right now.

Here are some pieces I worked on for the last week

 They were all YCH ( Your Character Here ) Commissions, so they all belong to their owners.   

I could explain what that suppose to mean, but I can't, literally, put it into words, so you can always google it to find out.

Every single commissioner is unique, but they all have been so supportive and I have to be thankful for that. I wasn't sure what would happen if they took the only thing that I have for granted in this life - and that is my art skill, or at least some.

I don't find myself a big artist, 'cause I'm not. I still have a lot to learn - and I want to - but in my position, taking that move, requires a lot of physiological strength that I don't have at the moment. Someday I will be able to became the artist that I always wanted to be.

Hey, it is me again with some great news!
In the past few days my life as been... a roller-coaster, but in a good way I guess.

First things first now!

I opened my RedBubble Store!!!!

And yes, this is the piece I used to open it. I'm really proud how this came out, and I hope I have some success with it :) // it is my baby after all.

I decided to open it because I have some personal bills that I need to pay monthly, and I don't receive that many request commissions as I wanted to, so I decided to expand my possibilities!

I was working in this piece for a few days and I finally finished it happy and proud!

I don't know if I will be able to be on Top20 so the jury can actually choose the best entry, but the mainly thing is that I had so much fun doing this that I don't even feel bad if I don't get any prize. 

To update you, this is an entry for the PaigeeWorld contest Alice in Wonderland where the contestants had to color a lineart given by the main jury of the contest.

Something at the TV

Oh yeah!
I'm here today to talk about the works I'm currently working on and about others I already finished :)
It is been a crazy and amazing week for my inspiration, which is great!

I will begin with my Stream Channel

unfortunately I'm no fancy at my streaming because my internet connection sucks... that is true. So it is just the drawing itself that you are going to watch ( it was mainly it right? xd ). Maybe, when I come out from the end of the world, I could get a nice internet service and go wild with my stream :D I believe in that dream ahah

About the Stream:

As I have so much free time I will be recording my actual drawing, those that I'm currently working on, as such Commissions, Fan Art, Original pieces, etc. As long as they are not Patreon exclusives of course :)

The website is amazing for the stream beginners and if you are trying to start stream I would definitely recommend it! 

You can try Twitch as well, but, for me, I prefer to start from the lowest rank since, as I said, I live in the mountain, like the bears!

I finished this commissions TODAY for one of my beloved supporters at Facebook/Deviant art.

It was really fun to draw him since I never had to do so much hair in one single picture ahah. Anyway, I learned a few things, one of them was to keep calm in every circumstance! 

JK, I loved to work on this piece and I hope to work for her ( commissioner ) once again~

I'm proud, I really am! I never did such work before, and for the first time doing it, it came out really well!

It is been a long time since I draw an animal, and painting? in ages! I never thought I could be this handy about such thing at first.

Of course it has its own mistakes, and I must keep improving if I want to keep drawing such beauties of mine ( I have a deep love for these characters ).

(Un)Fortunately this is only a Preview of the whole piece :) Only my patrons will get it alongside with some gifts of it.

About:

Shen is one of my oldest characters, but not one of the most important ones. I decided to draw him because I'm in a quest pairing him with another deviant artist OC, which is going to be great because her ocs are just so wonderful, and a perfect match for my little boy ;u;

He is a Sacred Wolf, chosen by the Spirits to be the Thunder Dragon ( hell yeah ), He takes the human form daily tho.

oh, and he is gay 8D

I created him so long time ago, about like, almost 10 years, and I couldn't even thing about get rid of him as the others.

I will be drawing the other 2 wolfs, 1 of them is his brother, which as nothing to do with him tho!

anyway, I guess that is it!

Mr Pool

Yes, I know, I'm not a trending person, but I do love him so much!

It is time to give some real use to this blog; besides my personal one.

As the title suggest I'm here to give you some crappy fan art of my favorite Marvel "hero".

well, in my defense I never had the opportunity to make some digital portraits before.... but I have no excuse for what happened next. 

Even if I don't like the final result, I want to share with you my failure // I don't know if that is such failure since almost everyone told me he looked a lot like him.

Anyway I need to improve a little bit more in these type of art, but either way I want to share every single piece of art I'm making, good or bad, I always be glad to have your support and most honest critics.

I never learn do I? But I had to do something different this time.

It didn't come out as I expected - obviously. but since the original version was too much nsfw, I had to draw something less "kinky"// not deadpool style tho, but for my own good.

I really wanted to finish this version so I will try to make up to it since I'm out of work to do right now.

Graphic Novel Updates

I don't know how many art pieces I've done since my last post, but I will try to update you the best I can!


I have been struggling with my graphic novel, and the problems that I have been having at home are not helping me to decide what to do with it... anyway! I've been sketching and sketching to try to release some stress and anger.

 

The hardest thing that a heart can deal with is the deception of another.

This idea was fermenting in my head for a long time, but since I'm not a professional mangaka, I'm always with some fear to try it and fail at it, but I had a really good feedback about it, so yeah, I guess I didn't fail that much.

 So continuing the traditional spirit. Finally I'm doing some character design attempting to get some inspiration to continue my graphic novel.

Meet Cerberus - yeah, that one! 

He's Caroline guardian [ one of the main characters ], and his mission is not concrete since he doesn't have any memories to recall.

 I really love his design, and it was actually the first try that I give it! He will have an extra design, but it will come up eventually with the graphic novel development.

  

I will definitely try to start all over again with my graphic novel, so the pages that you already read... forget about them, because you will have some brand new art <3

Will you...

Sometimes I try to understand why I react in so many different ways to a single problem. Maybe I just gave up on so many things and stop running after.

This was maybe the most difficult piece that I've ever draw so far.

I've been through a hard time lately, and I never found a place to get rid of my pain... drawing was never the first path I take whenever I'm feeling down //since I don't even have strengths to get up in the morning.

You need to try to face your fears, and fight for what you want.

I know it's not that easy, and I know that, but for some reason we need to believe in something to keep going, even if that something is not real.

We need to find our inspiration, I found mine even if its not reachable, but I'm really happy to have something that I can rely my happiness on for now.

Caroline and Adam are two original characters of mine, and I love each one in the same way. 

I created them for my graphic novel idea, but in the end I don't know if I'm ever going to finish it... I may write it down as I always did with my novels.

About my skills:

+I'm still trying to figure out my digital drawing skills, and so far so good. I never had this massive improvement in so short time, and I must be proud of myself even if I'm not.

+As an artist I feel okay. I can't say that I'm 100% full filled, 'cause we can't be, its just not right.

I'm still trying to find out my style, even if I'm about to conclude that path.

One thing that I missed in a long time was traditional arts.

You can do amazing things with pencil and paper, and there's nothing more wonderful than that, but for some reason times changed and we have to run after what's in the market nowadays.

These are my 2 of 3 males main characters of my graphic novel, Adam and Duncan.

Once I have the character designs ready, I will do a full piece like this one of all my characters. 

And maybe I missed some things that I would love to talk about, but I may remember them for the next time :)
